"Old Soul" Butterfly Bracelet

White butterflies were thought to be the souls of the dead in Irish myth and folklore, and spirals are ancient symbols seen on the stones of the 5,000-year-old passage tomb Newgrange in Ireland.

Both symbols are featured in this handmade bracelet, along with purple Czech glass flowers and wooden beads. The butterfly and spirals are probably resin but there’s a possibility one or more of them are made from bone or horn. Bead vendors do not always have accurate information, so I wanted to give full disclosure for those who do not wear animal products.
