This is an original work of jewelry art, only one available, designed and created in my private studio. It features parts from broken pocket watches and clocks, and a brass skull-and-crossbones. The watch parts feature their natural discoloration from age and use, and are engraved “A.T & S. Fe. train dispatcher.” I am not an expert on collectible watches, but I have read that special watches were made for railroad lines during the several decades at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries.
I’m assuming these watch innards came from the timepiece of a train dispatcher, the person responsible for keeping the trains running on time. Perhaps he was “dispatched” in a raid with airship pirates, and this watch was kept as a trophy by the ruthless dirigible captain.
Centerpiece measures 1-3/4 inches across. Entire necklace is 19 inches long, but may be hooked on any link to wear it smaller. If you would prefer a larger size, please put a note in the comment box when ordering and I can add links. Please note that monitors vary, and the color may be slightly different in person. Gift boxed.

My Neo-Victorian, steampunk and other costuming pieces are for fun and art, and may not be as durable as my other jewelry. Care should be taken when wearing, as gears and other parts may snag clothing and are easily broken. Jewelry should not be subjected to chemicals, perfumes, dyes, lotions, or rigorous treatment, such as wearing while exercising, swimming, working, cleaning, etc. Please note that I have no way to 100% guarantee the condition of any vintage, recycled or “rescued” parts, in regards to being hypoallergenic, or whether they contain lead, nickel, aluminum or any other materials. Purchase and wear at your discretion. More about my steampunk jewelry.
