I was told that these stones are turquoise. They have a lovely bluish-green and brown marbled pattern reminiscent of copper and verdigris (the blue-green patina that appears on aged copper). Matched with freshwater pearls. French hooks, wire and embellishments are all sterling silver. Earrings measure 1-inch long, from top of pearl to bottom of earring,  (image enlarged to show details). Original, one-of-a-kind earrings designed and handmade in my private studio. I tend to avoid using fake gears (they’re just not as fun, imo) but I thought these were cool. I set them in brass bezels, over found ephemera (a fancy word for paper stuff, like stickers, postcards, magazine cutouts, etc), under a dome of Ice Resin. Accented with brass beads.
