This is a real letter “K” Scrabble tile, made into an altered art charm. On one side is an image of Jewel Staite as “Kaylee” from Joss Whedon’s cult TV show FIREFLY, (this is cut out from a magazine NOT a computer printout) coated with Ice Resin. You can see the reverse side, with the letter “K” below. It’s hung on a double strand of hand-dyed pink silk cord. Measures 18 inches long. Charm is 5/8 inch across. Ice Resin is water resistant, but the tile itself is wood and I recommend that the buyer do not immerse it or get it wet, and do not expose it to cleaning chemicals or anything that might damage the tile. One-of-a-kind (OOAK) item, only one available, so get it while you can! Gift boxed.

These earrings were inspired by the character Kaylee in the cult sci-fi Joss Whedon TV show FIREFLY. They feature “foofaraw pink” glass flower beads, and brass heart-shaped charms with the Chinese characters for “Double Happiness,” which Kaylee is seen wearing in the final scenes of the movie SERENITY. They measure 1-3/8 inches long (not including the leverback earwires). Designed and handmade in my studio. Gift boxed.

These are one of the few items on my website which are not one-of-a-kind — I have sold several pairs, and will continue to make them as long as I can find the beads and charms. Right now, there are none available.

The ceramic tree was created by North Carolina artist Elaine Ray and measures 1-1/4 inches high (enlarged image below). I added it to a copper bail and strung it on a strand of soft silk cord hand-dyed in shades of rosy peach and light green. Adjustable between 16 and 18 inches long. This item is one of a kind (OOAK) and there is only one available. The picture shows exactly what you will receive. Gift boxed.

I love working with Elaine’s “pieces of earth” as she calls them, because her combination of clays and glazes is so inspiring, and she is just the nicest person. Her character truly comes through in her work.
