I have identified the same type of bead that Kaylee is seen wearing on the DVD cover of the cult sci-fi Joss Whedon TV show FIREFLY, the second Official Firefly Companion book, and in other FIREFLY promotional pictures. The beads are imported from Italy. I also found a type of cord that looks just like hers. It is tan buckskin (made in the USA). These necklaces are adjustable, with an extension chain that allows them to be worn between about 16 and 18 inches long.

This is one of the few items on my website that I’ve made several times. I will continue making these for as long as I am able to obtain the beads and materials. Items are made when ordered. Depending on my schedule, and how many orders come in, this item might take 2-4 weeks to ship.
