SOLD Mindworks Necklace

jlh-128-mindworks3.jpg

I made this piece using parts from a vintage, non-working wrist watch (inscribed “Elgin USA”), wire, beads, watch gears, and a found image of a Victorian style woman in profile. The pendant is coated with resin to help protect it and you, but care should be taken as there are still some small pointy and sharp edges on the watch parts. Necklace is embellished with faceted Czech glass beads and brass cylinders. Adjustable between 16 and 17 inches long, centerpiece measures 1-1/8 inches across (image enlarged below to show details). One-of-a-kind (OOAK).

  • I love the face in the gap! Especially since it looks like a brain and machine blended together. And it’s lovely as usual. Clever name too.
