SOLD Steampunk Clockwork Pendant

November 20th, 2008 by Jen

jlh-118-cwnk.jpgThis is a one-of-a-kind, handmade, steampunk-inspired clockwork necklace. The pendant was made using the inner clockwork mechanism of a non-working Elgin USA watch, cemented to a brass bezel (enlarged photo, below). It measures 1-inch across, which is a size I don’t come across very often — wrist watches are usually much smaller, and pocket watches much bigger. The necklace, which includes metal chain and brass pipe beads, is adjustable and may be worn up to about 18 inches long. This item was created in my private studio, and it is the only one.

Fancy enough for your next Neo-Victorian party, casual enough to wear every day… This is a one-of-a-kind, handmade, steampunk-inspired, pewter-tone charm bracelet, featuring “typewriter key” charms, clock charm, filigree key charm, steel hardware (looks like gears but are actually lock washers), and faceted glass crystal topped by a bit from a broken pocket watch. This item was created in my private studio, and there is only one available.
