A combination of quartz stone, hematite, Czech glass, India glass, filigree, pewter, gunmetal, hardware, chain, and European silver-plated wire. I use the term “spacepunk” because these pieces are inspired by two of my loves — STEAMPUNK and FIREFLY (a sci-fi cult-classic space western). Each spacepunk piece is a unique combination of materials, designed to look as if it were cobbled together from bits of space debris, and engine parts. Adornment is a human compulsion, old as history, and I imagine would continue if we settled the stars.
