Featuring combinations of vintage and found objects, hardware, stones, glass, beads, chain and wire, in four types of metal — gunmetal, brass, stainless steel and silver. I use the term “spacepunk” because these pieces are inspired by two of my loves — STEAMPUNK and FIREFLY (a sci-fi cult-classic space western). Each spacepunk piece is a unique combination of materials, designed to look as if it were cobbled together from bits of space debris, and engine parts. Adornment is a human compulsion, old as history, and I imagine would continue if we settled the stars.
