Art nouveau-style dragonfly pendant with faceted Czech glass beads. 

Clockwork charm features steel and brass gears, suspended from a chain of brass and silver-plated links, vintage watch gears, and faceted red Czech glass. Clockwork charm is from the inner workings of a Crawford Swiss 17-jewel wrist watch, measures 20mm across. Enlarged image, below, to show details. Note from Jen: The steampunk jewelry takes me longer to create than other pieces, partly because I have to hunt for appropriate materials, and partly because these designs are more complex and unusual than my other jewelry. Materials may include vintage jewelry, clock and watch parts, and one-of-a-kind items from specialty bead stores and estate sales. While they are intended to be worn as jewelry, please keep in mind that they are also individual works of art and should be handled with care.
